An 8-inch concrete scarifier (also known as a crete-planer or surface milling machine) is a walk-behind power tool designed to aggressively level concrete, shave down trip hazards, and remove stubborn coatings. It operates using a high-speed rotating drum loaded with multi-tipped cutting wheels that hammer away at the surface, allowing you to remove up to 1/8 inch of material per individual pass
